| between them is for the wastegate actuator and the holes closer to the outlet (in this picture) are for the heatshield bracket. My conclusion is: because the A/R is larger on the 5spd vs the auto (on the exhaust housing) the wastegate actuator is positioned accordingly therefore the compressor side has different mounting holes for their respective exhaust housing. My apologies :(
